For over 150 years we have experimented with processes, technologies and materials to bring the greatest comfort on board our yachts.

Our facilities have the highest level of automation of any in the sector, anywhere in the world. Over time we have kept pace with the major transformations in boatbuilding, moving from wooden boats to GRP and introducing ever more advanced production methods. In the 1970s Aldo Cranchi created a unique design philosophy that brings together in-line production, advanced engineering and a way of organising work built around continuous improvement. His vision gave rise to the Metodo Piantedo, the method we use to build every Cranchi yacht.

We were born on Lake Como, a region where a manufacturing tradition, design research and a love of beauty have always come together. This is why the Italian way of living and Disegno Italiano are part of our DNA and guide the way we conceive every yacht.

All our production is concentrated in Italy, in Lombardy, where our boats are conceived, designed and built.

Shipyards

Piantedo Plant 1 and Seventy Plant 4 are Cranchi’s two high-technology production facilities.

Here we build yachts of up to 25 metres, using cutting-edge materials and technology, with a production model recognised as a benchmark for the industry.
