Sessantadue 62 awarded European Powerboat of the Year 2025

18 Jan 0025

On 18 January 2025 during the Flagship Night in the framework of the  Boot Düsseldorf, Cranchi Yachts’ new flybridge was awarded European Powerboat of the Year in the up to 24m category.

The European Powerboat awards are amongst the most important in the maritime sector due to their panel. The jury is indeed composed of expert test riders and the editors-in-chief of eight sector magazines, which reach a combined monthly total of a million readers, and an even larger audience through their digital channels: Båtmagasinet (Norway), Boatmag.it (Italy), BOOTE (Germany), Motorboot (Netherlands), Nautica y Yates (Spain), Neptune (France), Marina CH (Switzerland) and Yachtrevue (Austria).

The Sessantadue 62 grabbed the attention of the jury members thanks to its distinctive design and its liveability characteristics, which make it a yacht suitable for long group cruises.

Sessantadue 62

The Cranchi Sessantadue 62 is a new flybridge yacht with total length of 20.15 metres and hull length of 17.68 metres.

A48 O/B wins the Design Innovation Award 2026

The award went to A48 O/B in the motorboats up to 14m hull length category at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. Now in its seventh edition, the award is organised by Confindustria Nautica with the Genoa International Boat Show, and recognises research, creativity and sustainability across the marine industry. Beyond the open A48 O/B changes the way you spend time at sea, and the clearest sign of it is at the stern: with the bulwarks folded down, the cockpit opens into one continuous beach area, and each side platform has a built-in step that takes you down towards the water. Forward, the new T-Top and wraparound windscreen shelter the cockpit without enclosing it. The proportions and the colour palette give A48 O/B the presence of a considerably larger yacht. The outboard range grows At 14.75 metres overall with engines, and powered by three outboards, A48 O/B continues a direction Cranchi has been following for some time, alongside E26 O/B and A32 O/B. https://www.cranchi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/A48-OB-ORIZZONTALE_1.mp4
