Iconic silhouette and refined details
During the 65th Genoa International Boat Show, the prizes of the sixth edition of the Design Innovation Award, promoted by Confindustria Nautica and the Genoa International Boat Show, were announced.
A32 Luxury Tender won in the category up to 10 m LH, as “Convincing and detail-oriented solution for an cutting-edge luxury tender that fits into the yard’s building tradition”.
The Design Innovation Award celebrates excellence, research, and innovation in the global boating industry. Established in 2020, the Award has grown over the years to become one of the most highly regarded international recognitions in the sector.
The ceremony took place in the elegant Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, where the winners of the ten categories were honored. The jury was chaired by Walter De Silva, one of the most renowned Italian designers worldwide in contemporary automotive design.
This is another significant achievement for Cranchi Yachts, following the victory of the European Powerboat Award 2025 with the Sessantadue 62.

A48 O/B wins the Design Innovation Award 2026
The award went to A48 O/B in the motorboats up to 14m hull length category at the 66th Genoa International Boat Show.
Now in its seventh edition, the award is organised by Confindustria Nautica with the Genoa International Boat Show, and recognises research, creativity and sustainability across the marine industry.
Beyond the open
A48 O/B changes the way you spend time at sea, and the clearest sign of it is at the stern: with the bulwarks folded down, the cockpit opens into one continuous beach area, and each side platform has a built-in step that takes you down towards the water.
Forward, the new T-Top and wraparound windscreen shelter the cockpit without enclosing it. The proportions and the colour palette give A48 O/B the presence of a considerably larger yacht.
The outboard range grows
At 14.75 metres overall with engines, and powered by three outboards, A48 O/B continues a direction Cranchi has been following for some time, alongside E26 O/B and A32 O/B.
